STRATEGIC RELIGIOUS EXCHANGE PROGRAMS (STREP)

Strategic Religious Exchange Program (STREP) is organized by St. Christy Institute For Religious Education & Seminary’s International Religious Programs Office to bring international religious ministers affiliated with our non-profit religious organization and church workers to the United States on strategically receive religious training. These training are structured at equipping our participants gain understanding of America and the global community. They also are exposed to new ideas or methods of doing things that can be implemented or modified upon their return home ministries.

Program Goals

The Office of International Religious Programs has the mission of promoting religious freedom as part of our core objectives of St. Christy Institute For Religious Education & Seminary Inc.

Our religious exchange programs are developed with the goal of promoting freedom of religion and conscience throughout the world as a fundamental human right and as a source of stability for all countries across the globe. These goals are achieved by exposing religious ministers and workers to current practices and acceptable religious freedom programs organized by United State agencies and similar governmental and non-governmental organizations. The program organizers believe that establishing, cultivating, and engaging the global community is essential to meeting current and future global challenges.

Program Participation eligibility

  • Must register as a member of The Samaritan Woman Global Evangelistic Ministries Inc.

  • Must obtain active membership before and after registering to participate in the program

  • Must maintain active membership for not less than two years prior to registration to participate in the program

  • Must be an ordained minister by St. Christy Institute For Religious Education & Seminary

  • Must accept to receive ministerial training in the United States on a temporary status (must demonstrate desire to return to home ministry after program)

  • Must accept to work atleast part time, an average of atleast 20 hours per week.

  • Must fulfill all other program requirements as shall be directed by the program coordinator.

  • St. Christy Institute For Religious Education & Seminary Inc. is the program organizer. It has vested its administrative authority to The International Religious Office of the Institute to organize the Strategic Religious Exchange Program (STREP). The International Religious Office (IRO) of St. Christy Institute For Religious Education & Seminary Inc. is thereby responsible for assisting all STREP participants requiring traveling arrangements to attend its programs in the United States with all traveling arrangements. However, such assistance shall be limited to only providing logistic support as shall be required of St. Christy Institute For Religious Education & Seminary Inc as the petitioning organization. St. Christy Institute For Religious Education & Seminary Inc does not guarantee the issuance of visa to participants of STREP since it is at the sole discretion of the United States Consular section of the participant’s country who has the ultimate authority to issue visas to participants. St. Christy Institute For Religious Education & Seminary Inc shall fully collaborate the authorized government agencies on all issues pertaining to visa application petitioning on behalf of program participant
